Patrick X. Amoresano

Patrick X. Amoresano has been Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney since 1990. Less than three (3%) percent of all New Jersey attorneys hold this coveted certification. In addition, Mr. Amoresano is an active member of The New Jersey Association for Justice who's received the highest possible peer review rating - AV PREEMINENT - from Martindale Hubbell, the oldest and most respected attorney rating organization in the nation, and the highest possible rating in his actual practice fields - SUPERB - from Avvo, the most widely used interactive attorney-client information directory in the nation.

Please allow Pat to share with you this short personal reflection about how he was led to practice law, and why he's authored this website.

"My late father, Floyd V. Amoresano, was a truly extraordinary attorney whose professional dedication, character, and countless acts of kindness led his colleagues to call him a "lawyer's lawyer," his clients to call him their friend, and each of his five children to follow in his formidable footsteps, whether practicing law or providing healthcare to patients with physical and psychological disabilities.

Unfortunately, cancer stole him from us when he was only 62, as I was still completing college at Fordham University, and before I could share with him my joy over having been accepted to study the law at Seton Hall, the proud alma mater to so many fine lawyers and jurists in New Jersey.

Today, nearly 40 years since his passing, it's not for me to say whether I possess any of my father's professional qualities. It's just for me to say, with great pride and deep humility, that I possess his good name, and am still moved by his spirit to serve others.
